Why ‘Not all men’ misses the point. Very mixed opinions surrounding this subject, but it is important we look at this perspective too. After an experience like this, I am honestly a million times more wary around men. That’s not at all my way of saying that I think all men are likely to do this, but it makes me feel a hell of a lot safer and I’d much rather be safer than sorry.

You could never understand the fear unless you’ve been there yourself and if this was you, you would probably feel the same way. All we are asking is that men take responsibility and are made aware about something that is quite evidently an issue that needs challenging.

With the latest news on the passing of Sarah Everard, this campaign is extremely relevant to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding her death. This campaign aims to do everything in its power to protect women who have the right to walk home safely. What we want you to understand, is that there is no comparison when it comes to sexual violence and harassment. Enabling those 'small' behaviours such as degrading comments and unwanted touching ALL lead up to a much bigger issue. We've all pretended we're on the phone to somebody when walking home. We've all put our keys between our knuckles and we've all carried a r**e alarm at some point. This is just only a small portion of how it feels to be a female walking alone anywhere.

We know that all men don't act like this, but we do know that ALL women go through this. This is not the time to get defensive about your gender and instead, start defending the women who gave birth to you, cared for you and clothed you. The women who carried you for 9 months to defend and protect them if they come to any harm. Ask yourself this; Would you feel the same way if this was your mother, sister, auntie, grandmother who had experienced this?

If you find yourself disagreeing with this movement or enabling behaviours that you don't think you should be involved with, you are very much part of the problem. It's time we stopped normalising degrading behaviours and SPEAK UP if you see your mates acting strange towards women.

With all that being said, we've almost reached 1000 signatures! I believe we can reach this goal and get the support and change we deserve.

Hey everyone! I’ve had some amazing news today and I need you all involved as much as possible. I’ve had confirmation from GMP that the protest march can go ahead at some point this year and they are in full support of this event. Due to covid however, it may be getting pushed back until they deem it safe enough to attend. Not to worry, because in the mean time we have ALOT of planning to do and this is where your assistance is needed! I need charities to work with, merchandise and help with the organisation on the day. More importantly I need your full support and you to share this as much as possible with your friends and family. We’ve come such a long way in the past few months and it’s crazy to think how much more we have planned this year! If you’d like to be involved, please give me a message or reach out to me in some way. I’d love to have you on board and a part of the team! Take care and stay safe. 🦋📢

Thank you all so much for such an overwhelming, amazing response! Things may be quiet right now but I’m currently rebranding everything and giving the pages a more sophisticated look. In the mean time, my inboxes are open and I’d love to hear from you ❤️

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for being a part of this campaign or even acknowledging it exists. Humanity has learned to stay silent about sexual assault and r**e crimes in fear of embarrassment. I'm here to tell you this is where it ends, and the I hear you campaign wants you to know this page is a safe space for you to open up confidentially. As a survivor of sexual assault, my heart broke hearing how many people did not report the offender and were more than happy to carry on with life. I can assure you that you absolutely deserve much better than this, and you deserve to live at peace with yourself knowing that you did the most you could. This campaign is not about what I went through, it's about all of us that have in someway felt violated by someone in someway, man or woman. I am here to encourage you to look at multiple options on how you can get through this ordeal. I promise, that with the right support things will get better no matter what the outcome. The endless support you deserve and need is right here waiting for you. ❤️
