Good morning everyone π
Itβs been a long night at the end of a very busy weekend, and weβve only just arrived home from patrol ποΈ
We were contacted several times during the early hours regarding similar incidents in different areas involving people in vehicles acting suspiciously and causing concern to local residents π± At the same time, we were also approached by someone experiencing a mental health crisis who needed support π
Sadly, this is something we are seeing more frequently. Less than a week ago, while out on patrol, we helped a person who was in crisis on a bridge. These situations can be incredibly difficult for everyone involved, and they can have lasting effects on those who respond π
Because of this, Iβll be looking into additional mental health training for our team. If anyone has any information, recommendations, or contacts that may be able to help, please get in touch. Iβm extremely proud of how our team has handled these situations so far, but with incidents like this becoming more common, I believe further training is the right step forward π
After a week of training, both Storm and I got home and went straight back to work. Safe to say that today will be dedicated to catching up on some much-needed rest π
As for Luna, she has definitely taken full advantage of Storm being exhausted. At one point, I thought she was going to make him wear her chewed up teddy bear as a hat π As you can see, sheβs doing everything she can to get his attention, while he just wants a well-earned sleep π΄
Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, report concerns, and look out for one another π€ Working together is what helps keep our community safe π«Ά
Have a great day, everyone ππ»

Another weekend complete, and another month comes to an end.
It's hard to believe that June starts tomorrow already π³
Throughout May, just as we have every month this year, our team has been out every single night, patrolling our communities, responding to concerns, and doing our part to help keep the areas we serve safe π
As many of you know, Crimewatchers is funded entirely by the people who support us. We receive no external funding, and everything we do is made possible by our community ππ»
With over 32,000 people following our page, even a small contribution from those who are able to help can make a huge difference. Whether it's Β£1 a month, 50p a month, or an occasional one-off donation, every contribution helps us continue the work we do and invest in the resources needed to remain out on patrol night after night π€
If you would like to support us, you can subscribe through our website at Crimewatchers.uk , where you can choose both the amount and the date your contribution is collected. One-off donations can also be made via PayPal

When we started this journey nearly six years ago, we never imagined how far we would come π₯² Over the years we've seen many similar groups across the country launch with great intentions, only to disappear after a short time. The fact that Crimewatchers is still here, still growing, and still out every single night is entirely down to the support, trust, and belief of this amazing community π«Ά
Quite simply, none of this would be possible without you π«΅
Thank you for continuing to stand behind us, share our posts, report concerns, and support the work we do. Every bit of encouragement helps keep us moving forward π¦
Have a great evening, enjoy the rest of your weekend, and as always...
Stay safe π
π³
Good morning everyone π,
It was another early start for us last night as we spent the evening out on patrol, supporting members of our community in a variety of ways π€
From simple reassurance checks on homes while residents are away enjoying their holidays, to helping people safely navigate difficult situations, it was a busy but rewarding evening ππ» We know how important peace of mind is, and weβre always happy to help residents relax knowing their homes are in safe hands ποΈ
During the patrol, we also helped prevent a situation from escalating between two friends after one had consumed too much alcohol and an argument broke out on their way home πΊ One person became aggressive and attempted to start a fight. We encouraged them to separate for the evening, allowing everyone time to calm down and talk things through once emotions had settled and the alcohol had worn off. Thankfully, common sense prevailed, and the situation was resolved without further incident β
We also came across someone trying car door handles and carried out additional patrols of the area π
One particularly concerning incident involved a man acting suspiciously. From a safe distance, we observed him deliberately set fire to a bag of rubbish next to a bin that was positioned against a building occupied by a local business β Had this gone unnoticed, the consequences could have been very serious π¨ With a large amount of cardboard and other combustible materials nearby, the fire could have spread rapidly to the building π₯
Fortunately, we had bottles of water in our vehicle due to the warm weather and were able to extinguish the fire immediately before any damage was caused π§ We donβt know what the individualβs intentions were, but weβre glad we were there to spot it and prevent what could have become a much more serious incident.
Overall, it was another successful evening on patrol, helping to keep our community safe and supporting those who needed us π
We hope you all have a fantastic day and, as always, stay safe.
Storm is currently trying to get some well-earned rest, but Luna isnβt having any of it ππΎ

WE ARE ON PATROL π¦π
30/05/2026
Good morning everyone π
Itβs been a long and productive week for both Storm and me π We've been working hard on his training, and the progress he has made has been incredible ππ» His obedience, recall, and overall development have come on tremendously, and we are now ready to move on to the next stage of his training β the real test π
Iβll be doing a full post over the coming weeks about his training journey and the course itself, but I have to say the trainers and training centre have been outstanding ππ» While it certainly wasnβt cheap, we cannot recommend them highly enough. For a dog like Storm, who is regularly out in the community and in the public eye, itβs essential that he has the right skills, training, and qualifications to carry out his role safely and effectively β
While we've been away, the team has done a fantastic job taking the reins π± They have been out on patrol every night, responding to calls from the community and covering as many streets as possible π‘ They have started early when requested and stayed out late when necessary to support local residents π€
Over the past week, the team has responded to reports of suspicious males trying car door handles, concerns about a woman seen in residents' gardens π³, and numerous calls regarding youths wearing balaclavas near homes during the early hours, leaving families understandably worried about their intentions π They also assisted with an incident involving a man in crisis on a bridge during the early hours of Tuesday morning π
These are just a few examples of the situations our patrollers deal with while working alongside the community to help keep our area safe and provide reassurance to residents π«Ά
It was great to be back out on patrol last night with Storm. Luna, however, was not impressed that she had to stay at home and couldn't come with us! π€¦
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support. Have a great day, stay safe, and remember that if you see something that concerns you, please report it β
