The ideal candiate will have:-
• Proven experience as a support worker and ability to work as part of an established team.
• NVQ Level 2 in Social Care (training can be provided)
• Deaf aware and a good understanding of individual communication needs.
• Ability to use Sign Supported English is desirable.
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding of person centred support
• Experience relating to brain injury/related behaviour would be desirable but training will be provided.

DEPUTY TEAM LEADER - SUPPORT SERVICES (MANCHESTER AREA)
Salary Range: ÂŁ19,750- ÂŁ21,500 per annum

SEA Recruitment Services seek to employ a Deputy Team Leader to assist in the management of the Adults services. The role involves the supervision of Senior Support Workers, overseeing client packages of care, liaising with professionals and supporting the development of the service.
About you:
It is essential that the Deputy Team Leader we employ has experience of managing/supervising staff within a domiciliary, community or residential care setting with d/Deaf and Deafblind people. A management qualification is desirable although full training will be offered to the right applicant. You will spend part of your week supporting clients and part of the week in the managerial role.
The ideal candidate will have:-
