This Volunteers' Week we wanted to say a big thank you to all our Heaton Park volunteers, so we made a big 'THANK YOU!'

From our individual volunteers who get involved in so many different roles, tasks and activities, to our volunteer-led stakeholder groups who bring regular activities and events to the park - with your time, energy and enthusiasm you add so much value to our park and we appreciate you so much.

Thank you also to all those who care for the park in your own ways - from picking up litter and helping someone find their way, to sharing your photos with us - it all adds up to make Heaton Park the truly special place that it is.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering at Heaton Park or any other Manchester park, head to the Manchester Volunteer Inspire Programme website at https://mcrvip.com/index-classic to check out volunteering opportunities!

As 's Bloomtown comes to a close, we're looking back on all the fabulous flowery fun we had during Bloomtown at Heaton Park!

Bloomtown kicked off at Heaton Park in March, with a lovely day of storytelling, crafts and more as we celebrated the beginning of blossom season with the !

Then returned to Heaton to “blossomify” running kits with Parkrun runners, engaging with over 150 runners and members of the public who got crafty with blossom bits!

Finally, we hosted the much‑anticipated Blossom Run, where Parkrun runners turned up in blossom‑inspired outfits, wearing their blossom T‑shirts and picking up volunteer‑made Blossom x badges!

We've had so much fun at Heaton Park this Bloomtown that we're already excited for next year... Bring on the Blossom!
