*paid opportunity* A muddy boot box. A symbol of something much bigger.
In the hallway of Deborah’s flat, there’s a plain cardboard box meant for muddy boots. To most it’s nothing special. But to 17-year-old Paige, it means everything.
It means stability.
It means support.
It means home.
Paige is a dog walker – every day she heads out rain or shine, building a routine, earning trust, and gaining confidence. And when she gets back, that muddy boot box is there waiting – a quiet sign that she belongs, that this is her home now.
Before moving in with her Supported Lodgings host Deborah, life felt uncertain. Now, thanks to Deborah’s warmth and guidance, Paige has more than a place to stay – she has a future she can believe in. One muddy boot at a time.
Your support makes stories like this possible. 💛

See our other posts and please get in touch if you would like to find out more about becoming a paid Supported Lodgings host.

She doesn't do it for the money, but she admits the money helps make it financially sustainable for her. To find out why she does it, and to see if it's something that you might like to get involved in, why not come along to our info session / Q&A next week (go to our page for the link).

In the meantime, you can also find more information in our last post, send us a message with your email if you'd like us to send you an info pack ([email protected]), or even ask questions in the comments.
