A huge THANK YOU to all who help us do what we do. Without you all it would not be possible! We are forever grateful.

Our next few breakfast events have some interesting things going on. We are always looking for support to help keep these events going. People don't realise the work that goes on behind the scenes to make it happen.
We have an 84 year old serving soldiers mum bringing breakfast out to you all and n the kitchen, an 80 year old washes up. It would be great if people might like to help from time to time?
June we have the Northwest Veterans Corps of Drums at 1000
July we have a display to mark 20 years of the North West Ambulance Service.
August we are marking VJ day and also celebrating the 40th anniversary of Trafford Royal Naval Association. The Sailor Boys from Liverpool are singing!
Why not join us? If you would like to help our volunteers then we would be grateful.

Tonight after work we visited Arthur on his 80th birthday. He is currently in Wythenshawe hospital and we got the staff to sing happy birthday as we gave him another fab creation from Cakes By P ! We also presented him with his cap badge. He was in the Sherwood Forresters. Best wishes Arthur, we hope you recover and return home soon.

At our monthly Breakfast club we like to provide some entertainment, whether it's a book signing or talk or a singer, today Golden Age Songbird was singing classics from the War years. Fair play to Phil for joining in.

๐ŸŒ… A Brilliant Morning at Breakfast Club!
This morningโ€™s Breakfast Club at Flixton Cricket Club was one of our busiest and most memorable yet.

We were honoured to welcome the newly appointed High Sheriff of Manchester Mark Llewellin, who spent the whole morning visiting every table and chatting with our members โ€” a real treat for everyone.

๐ŸŽถ To mark VE Day, Golden Age Songbird filled the room with classic wartime favourites. We also raised a heartfelt toast to those who never made it home, and to the brave crews of the Dambusters.

๐Ÿค A special moment came when Graham and Norman. who hadnโ€™t seen each other since 1980, reunited and spent time reminiscing.

๐Ÿ’ท Huge thanks to the South Manchester Metal Detecting Club for their generous ยฃ500 donation โ€” your support means so much.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Our new welcome table made its debut too, and Issac was especially pleased with how much easier it was to assemble.

๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ And of course, we wrapped up with our usual two raffles โ€” always a crowd favourite.

Another fantastic morning filled with community, conversation, and connection.
