Wow, what an incredible morning at Breakfast Club! ☕️✨
Where do we even start? It was a packed, lively, and truly special morning with so much going on!

📖 Special Guests & Stories:
We were honored to welcome Frank The Soldier 1 and Carl Gardner, who gave a wonderful short talk and signed copies of his book. A extra special moment as Chris, one of our founders, was actually Carl’s driver on those very tours!

🌹 Remembrance:
Our Remembrance table was set in quiet tribute to memory of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice on those tours. Gone, but never forgotten.

🎨 Crafts & Creativity:
Huge thanks to Louise (wife of one of our Veterans) for bringing her gorgeous handmade craft stall! Plus, a big shoutout to John and Tony, who showcased two incredible new statue silhouettes they made at their local woodworking group. Fantastic craftsmanship!

🥳 Milestone Birthdays:
Frank helped us celebrate two special birthdays today:
A very Happy 80th Birthday to Linda! 🎈
Happy Birthday to Peter (age strictly classified! 😉)

🎟️ Raffle Success:
Our two usual raffles were buzzing, with some absolutely brilliant prizes handed out to lucky winners!

We were also blown away by the response to our Veteran support survey—50 people filled out forms to help us better support our Veteran community!

🙌 A Giant Thank You:
Mornings like this don't just happen. A massive thank you to our small army of volunteers, Veterans, family, friends, and the brilliant Cadets from our local RAF detachment. You are the heart of this club!

See you all at the next one! ❤️

Today marks 14 years since our colleagues, PC Nicola Hughes, aged 23 and PC Fiona Bone, aged 32 were killed as they responded to a routine incident at Abbey Gardens in Hattersley shortly before 11am on Tuesday 18 September 2012.

An annual memorial will take place today within the Nicola and Fiona memorial garden at Hyde Police Station, to remember our brave officers. 💙
