You’ll get a warm welcome from an experienced soldier who’ll give you the inside story on what Army life is all about. He or she will ask about your interests and begin to help you decide if a job in the Army is right for you. But we don’t mind whether you come in wearing your work clothes or jeans – we’re more interested in you, the things you’re good at and why you’re considering the Army. You’ll probably want to ask us about everything from training and career opportunities to travel prospects and how much you’ll get paid. We’ve got the answers to all these questions – and the ones you haven’t even thought of yet. We’ll tell you about the whole variety of Army jobs available. There’s a huge range to choose from including chefs, tank crewmen, nurses, vehicle mechanics and electricians. We’ll help you find the role that suits you best, and to make the biggest decision of all – whether life in the Army is right for you. Chances are you’ll leave the office with lots to think about. Feel free to come back any time to talk some more. Or if you decide you’re ready to take things further, we can help you make the next step towards joining the Army. We’ll need to weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI) and give you an Army contact form, DVD and application pack to take away.
