Memory foam double mattress (Elite) and gel foam double mattress (Supreme)

Hazard
The products present a risk of fire because the anti-slip part on the bottom surface of the mattress failed flammability testing. If exposed to an ignition source, the mattress could ignite and flame, causing a fire.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.

Corrective action
The products have been recalled from end users by Mattressman Ltd.

Affected customers have been contacted directly by the retailer. If you own this product and have not been contacted, stop using it and contact Mattressman (Submit a request - Mattressman) for a refund or replacement.

The products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that the footbed can become dislodged from the wedge heel. If the footbed unexpectedly became dislodged during use, the user could fall leading to injuries.

The products do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.

Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users by Next

Next have contacted consumers who purchased the heels directly. Owners are advised to stop using the product, and follow the instructions sent by Next to arrange for a refund or replacement.

Halo Foods Ltd is recalling the above product and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product and on their website. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.

Our advice to consumers
If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to where you bought it from for a full refund.

Consumers should stop using the product immediately. Do not handle the needle. Place the needle in a puncture-resistant container and secure the lid to prevent the needle from protruding or causing injury and ensure it is kept out of reach of children until it can be disposed of safely.

Access your local authority’s website, or contact your local authority, for guidance on the safe disposal of sharps in your area. Your local pharmacy or GP surgery may accept sharps for disposal; however, availability may vary, so please check in advance.

It is important these needles are disposed of safely and appropriately, and treated as a sharp, to reduce the risk of injury and potential infection.

*SCAM ALERT - Hulu impersonation email*

A scam email claiming to be from streaming platform Hulu tells you that your subscription has expired due to a payment failure and has therefore been cancelled.

It then gives you a button to 'update payment details.' This will lead to a phishing website designed to look like Hulu's official website. It will steal your personal and payment information as you enter it in.

You can report scam emails by forwarding them to [email protected] and websites to the National Cyber Security Centre.

The products present a risk to health as the sand sealed inside the gonks may be contaminated with a small quantity of asbestos. Asbestos is a banned substance because it poses a risk to health even at low levels of exposure.

The products have been withdrawn from the market and recalled from end users by Primark.

We recommend owners stop using the product immediately and keep out of the reach of children. Follow the below instructions for details on disposal and return of the product.
