Hey Families: Just wanted to give you an early heads up!
The RAFL Tiny Tales will be cancelled for the following dates: 19 June & 3 July.
These particular dates fell on US holidays and/or federally observed US holidays.
On behalf of the RAFM/RAFL EFMP Family Support, RAF Lakenheath Liberty Library, and RAF Lakenheath EDIS teams, we are sorry to pause the fun but look forward to seeing you all 17 July!

Hey Families (Q-coded/EFM enrolled only):

The Newmarket Pony Academy is pleased to offer families the opportunity to take part in a Pony Day as part of the EFMP Family Support program.

This unique, hands-on experience allows children to meet, care for and ride ponies in a safe, supportive and supervised environment.

No previous riding experience is required.

Must be enrolled in the EFM program/Q-coded.

**Age Range: 8 to 16 years of age**

Please note that for the welfare of the ponies, there is a maximum rider weight limit of 12 stone (168LBS).

Due to the limited amount of spacing available for each day, please only register for 1 day (Max for each day is 10 participants).

A informational and consent form will be sent out to those that RSVP prior to the event; that must be completed and sent back to the RAFM EFMP team.

Please plan for a parent to be present on-site or nearby at the event for majority of the day.

On Saturday, 20 June from 0900-1000 we have Sensory Friendly shopping events going on at both RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath.

Both events will highlight Father’s Day 🧰🔨

You can expect:
scavenger hunting
cool photo ops
and fun activities for the kiddos

As an added bonus:
You will have an opportunity to meet your installation EFMP Family Support coordinator, staff from EDIS will also be in attendance, and of course, staff from each BX will be present to answer any questions you and your family may have.

The May 20th session of Resilience for Caregivers workshop will be including a family-friendly craft activity!
This is a great opportunity to acquire or enhance healthy coping skills when in stressful situations and design a personal or friendship bracelet.
This session will be run by one of the M&FRC’s awesome MFLCs!

You're invited to a Military Couples Date Night on Friday, 15 May 2026, from 1730-2000 at the RAFM Chapel.

The RAFM Chaplains are excited to welcome combat veteran Phil Downer (depicted in the film Full Metal Jacket) and his wife, who will be guest speakers. This is a fantastic opportunity to invest in your marriage and connect with other couples.

Dinner and childcare will be provided.
