Notice: Minchinhampton High Street Road Closure – Sunday 8th November

Please note that Minchinhampton High Street will be closed between 10:30am and 11:30am on Sunday 8th November for the Remembrance Sunday Parade.
During this time, no vehicles will be able to travel the entire length of the High Street, or between the junction of Butt Street with Market Square and Bell Lane.
If you are parking around Minchinhampton Town Centre, please be aware that you will not be able to move your vehicle until the road closures have been lifted.

The closures are being managed by local volunteers, so please be patient, follow their instructions, and plan your journey accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Gloucestershire County Council Highways department have made us aware of 2 road closures beginning on Monday 26th October 2026 at Cuckoo Row and Brimscombe Hill. Please see the attached documents for more information.

We’re looking for someone passionate about our community to join Minchinhampton Parish Council. If you care about local issues, enjoy working with others, and want to help shape the future of the Parish, we’d love to hear from you.
The vacancy is in Minchinhampton North Ward, but anyone over 18 who lives or works in the Parish (Amberley, Box, Burleigh, part of Brimscombe) can apply. No previous council experience needed — training and support provided.

🚧 Road Closure Notice: Water Lane, Brimscombe 🚧

Gloucestershire County Council Highways has advised of a temporary road closure on Water Lane, Brimscombe, from 14th October 2026 to 16th October 2026, between 9:00am and 5:00pm daily.

The closure is required to allow National Grid to carry out pole replacement works.

Emergency vehicle and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the works.
