A big thank you to Playtime PR for generously donating a fantastic selection of board games to Newquay Library! 🎲

As the days get colder, there’s no better place to spend a few cosy hours than your local library. From this Saturday, pop in, pick a game and enjoy some free fun with family and friends in a warm and welcoming space.

We can’t wait to see our community enjoying them throughout the winter months.

Come to the Spooky Story time at the Library this Saturday!

At 11am and 1pm in the Children's area. All families welcome!
Check out lots of indoor activities still taking place around Newquay (see post below)...

🧡 ZOMBIE CRAWL PARADE CANCELLED – BUT FREE HALLOWEEN FUN CONTINUES! 🎃

Unfortunately, due to the forecast storm conditions, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s outdoor Zombie Crawl parade. 🌧️💨

The safety of our residents, visitors, performers and event team must always come first, and the forecasted heavy rain and strong winds mean we can’t safely go ahead with the parade.

👻 BUT THE HALLOWEEN FUN IS STILL GOING AHEAD! 🎃

There are still lots of FREE, family-friendly activities, workshops and Halloween entertainment planned across Newquay, including karaoke, Titan the robot, silent discos and much more! Check our Zombie crawl website for all the latest updates and timings. 🕺🪩🎤

🧡 Why can’t we move the parade to next week?

We know many of you are already asking whether we can postpone the parade until next Saturday, and believe us, we would have loved to have that option!

Unfortunately, road closure permissions need to be submitted at least three months in advance, and we simply don’t have the necessary permissions in place to hold the parade next week. There are also lots of other events already taking place in Newquay next Saturday, which would make rearranging everything even more challenging.

We know how much this event means to our community, and this decision has not been made lightly. We’re just as disappointed as you are, but safety has to come first.

🧡 Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to seeing you in Newquay for a spooktacular Halloween! 👻🎃🧟‍♂️
