St.Patrick's Primary School Welcome to St Patrick's Primary School, Cullyhanna! Here in St. Promote good relationships between pupils and adults. Above all here in St.

We aim to nurture the social, academic, emotional, sporting and spiritual growth of our entire school community in a supportive, inclusive environment. Patrick’s, Cullyhanna we aim to nurture and maximise the full learning potential of each child and foster their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development.

----------------------------------------------------------------

We aim to:

Create a happy and caring environment

Help children to learn that courtesy, good manners and consideration for others are very important qualities. Encourage children to be self-disciplined, independent and industrious, to take pride in their achievements, and to be generous in their friendship. Treat each child as an individual regardless of gender, nationality, religion or ability and provide teaching appropriate to his/her needs. Work together closely as a team to provide a quality learning environment for our children. Prepare our pupils for the responsibility and experiences of adult life to enable them to develop as well rounded members of society.
--------------------------------------------------------------

When parents choose St. Patrick’s for their child’s education they are making a commitment to the values implicit in the ethos of our Catholic school. In order for those values to become fully developed in our children, we believe that the strength of partnership between home and school must be paramount. We hope that parents will work to support our school in encouraging the principles of Christianity and humanity, which we feel should govern children’s attitudes to life. Our classrooms reflect an atmosphere, where children are purposefully engaged which promotes excellence, enjoyment, perseverance, self-discipline and independence. We aim to provide a curriculum, which offers a breadth of child centred experiences. We are fortunate to have strong links with our local community and our local church, where we attend and participate in the Liturgy every term. Patrick’s we aim to provide a happy, safe and secure environment where all members of the community are treated with respect.

🔢🎵 Day 3 of Maths Week - Cullyhanna Counts in Threes! 📹✍️

What a tremendous response we have had as we reach Day 3 of our Cullyhanna Counts in Threes competition! The creativity and enthusiasm being shown by our pupils and families continues to impress us, with more fantastic entries arriving each day.

We have loved seeing the wide variety of ways our school community has been counting in threes. So far, we've received eye-catching posters, delicious baking creations, examples of the number three spotted in shops, and even one very unusual entry from a pupil who somehow managed to end up with three of the same shoe! 👟👟👟

The imagination on display has been incredible, with families finding mathematical inspiration in everyday places and turning simple ideas into wonderfully creative entries. It has been fantastic to see everyone getting involved and having fun with maths together.

A huge thank you to all of our pupils and families for your continued support.

Keep those entries coming. We're excited to see what surprises Day 4 will bring! 🔢🎃🎵✨

🔢🎵 Day 2 of Maths Week - Cullyhanna Counts in Threes! 📹✍️

What another fantastic day of Maths Week Ireland at our school! The entries for our 'Cullyhanna Counts in Threes' Competition have continued to pour in, and we have been amazed by the enthusiasm, creativity and family involvement on display.

We have loved seeing the many different ways our school community has been counting in threes. We've seen poetry, creative crafts and even three members of our school's Family Fortunes team recreated in LEGO! One entry cleverly combined Halloween with counting in threes, while others have used their imaginations to come up with unique and inventive ways to showcase their mathematical skills. We have even spotted another making some very bold claims about why Armagh is superior to its neighbours! 😄

A huge thank you to all of our pupils and families for getting involved. Your creativity, effort and sense of fun are helping to make Maths Week a huge success.

Keep those fantastic entries coming. We can't wait to see what you'll come up with next! 🔢🎃🎵

We have been delighted to receive some of the first entries for our 'Cullyhanna Counts in 3s' competition. There has been an amazing amount of creativity on display, with pupils and families exploring maths at home in fun and imaginative ways.

Some entries have even featured a few highly dubious and totally unrealistic scorelines along the way, which certainly gave us a smile! 😄

Well done to everyone who has taken part so far. Keep those entries coming, we can't wait to see what you come up with next! 📚🔢✨
