"My sister Lynda was born with significant physical and learning disabilities. My early memories are of my parents fighting at every turn to get the best for her. It was one of the driving forces for my Dad going into politics himself, to get better services. I want to continue that work; to put people first and at the centre of service delivery and decision making. So for me, politics is personal."
