Happy Saturday from JR First Aid Training βοΈπ©Ή
Itβs looking like weβre going to have a lovely few days with the sun finally making an appearance! π
As much as we all enjoy the warmer weather, itβs really important to stay safe in the sun:
βοΈ Wear sun cream regularly and reapply throughout the day
βοΈ Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
βοΈ Wear hats and light clothing where possible
βοΈ Try to stay in the shade during the hottest parts of the day
Sunburn can lead to heat exhaustion, dehydration and long-term skin damage, so protecting yourself and your children is extremely important π
If someone does get sunburn:
π©Ή Move them out of the sun
π©Ή Cool the skin with cool water or a damp towel
π©Ή Encourage fluids
π©Ή Seek medical advice if blistering, dizziness or signs of heat exhaustion occur
Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine everyone π»
