The Beastly Beasts are a leash of greyhounds and lurchers in the UK. They promote greyhounds and lurchers as pets. The Beastly Beasts are Hounds Helping Hounds.
All have been rescued and now help raise awareness of issues of greyhounds used by the racing industry and the treatment of many lurchers. They support Greyhound and Lurcher rescues in the UK by providing homechecks, helping raise money, supporting Meet and Greets, and by fostering hounds in immediate need of a home. They raise awareness of the issues facing greyhounds used by the racing industry
and the treatment of many lurchers, and promote greyhounds and lurchers as pets. Many are also Pets As Therapy dogs and visit a local psychiatric hospital, Blue Cross Education dogs giving talks to schools and youth groups about animal welfare and other topics, and are or have been blood donors with the Pet Blood Bank.
