Thank you to everyone who joined us at the The Outdoor Club CIC, Mill Park Reserve - Long Buckby Green Spaces, Cotton End Park - Long Buckby Green Spaces joint Easter Hunt and Spring Fayre event 🌿🐣

We had a fantastic turnout, and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the activities, games, and great community spirit.

🌱 Spring is in the air 🌱

Come and join us at Mill Park Reserve next Saturday morning, 20th September for our open volunteer morning. 🌿

We would love to welcome all existing volunteers as well as new faces, to join us in looking after the park next Saturday, followed by hot drinks and cakes too🍰!

You don’t need any experience to join us at our volunteer morning, but would love to have as many people help out as possible. Any age welcome!

Volunteer Treasurer – Keep Our Reserve's Finances Flourishing! 🌳🌿
Do you love numbers and have a passion for conservation? Mill Park Reserve is seeking a volunteer treasurer to manage financial records, oversee budgeting, and allocate funds effectively to maximize our conservation efforts. Your attention to detail and commitment will guarantee that every pound raised or granted will go toward supporting our local wildlife and habitats. Meetings occur quarterly. Volunteer Secretary – Join Our Nature Reserve Team!🌱🌿
Are you organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about the natural world? Do you have some free time to put to good use? The Mill Park volunteers are looking for a voluntary secretary to help support our small but vibrant community nature reserve. The secretary plays a key role in handling communications, co-ordinating events and keeping volunteers and the local community connected. If you are ready to use your skills to help preserve local nature and would you like to join a friendly, supportive and dedicated group of volunteers we'd love to hear from you. Come and join us tomorrow at Mill Park, Long Buckby for our monthly volunteer morning. There'll be plenty to do, lots to explore and also, plenty of tea and cake too. Volunteers will be arriving anytime from 9am(ish). Tea and cake will be served around 11.

Our volunteer teams are there every Saturday, however once a month Muddy Toes and The Outdoor Club CIC come down with hot drinks and cakes, to say "Thank you" to all the volunteers that help maintain the lovely outdoor space.

We would love you to come and join us.

Thankyou to everyone who came down to Mill Park today to help us raise funds for the charity. We’ll be totalling up the donations over the next few days and will let you know the grand total!

The event today (and the running of the park in general) couldn’t run without our incredible team of volunteers. An even bigger thank you to all of them, from our cake bakers, stall runners, craft team and even the Easter Bunny too!

If you’d like to get involved in the management of Mill Park, from fundraising to treasurer, there are a variety of roles in need of filling. Pop down and see the team one Saturday between 9:30-12noon to find out more.
