Including the Hostry Visitor & Education Centre, Refectory Restaurant & Cafe, Weston Room, Herb garden and Japanese Garden and providing numerous events throughout the year, there really is something for everyone!

Listening Lunch - Friday 30 October, 1pm 📚

Join us for a Listening Lunch tomorrow, Friday 30 October, when we will hear a ghost story by renowned author M.R. James.

This weekly event is rooted in our Benedictine tradition, echoing the practice of monks listening to readings during mealtimes.

We were thrilled to welcome our first guests to the opening night of Time by Luxmuralis this evening, as the Cathedral was transformed by a breathtaking display of light, colour, and sound ✨

Take an immersive journey through time and experience Norwich Cathedral as you’ve never seen it before.

Running every evening until Saturday 31 October.

On Saturday 31 October at 5pm, we welcome The Revd Professor David Wilkinson, Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, to the Cathedral for a talk that bridges cutting-edge cosmology with deep philosophical faith.

📌 Talk: God, Time and Stephen Hawking

Coinciding with the arrival of Time by Luxmuralis this week, Professor Wilkinson will explore Stephen Hawking’s work on quantum gravity and the multiverse, moving beyond the traditional ‘science versus religion’ debate to open up deeper conversations about the nature of space, time, and existence.

This accessible talk is suitable for both the scientifically curious and the spiritually minded.
