Salary - £11.90/per hour
Hours worked – 37.5 hours per week

Duties and responsibilities:
• Provide high quality fundamental care to clients in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner.
• Administering prescribed medication
• Doing personal care that includes continence care, support with dressing, grooming, preparing meals and drinks of choice, feeding and other tasks as per the care plan.
• Support with social access, shopping and attending appointments
• Acting always in the clients’ best interests.
• Always Protecting and maintaining the client’s privacy and dignity.
• Providing individualised care respecting personal beliefs and preferences.
• Reporting to the management any change or concern relating to the welfare of a clients in a timely manner.
• Engaging with clients in conversation at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences.
• Liaise with families or/and next of kins to provide a consistent approach that meets the individual need of Client

You will be expected to:
• Have worked in a similar position for at least one year
• Passing IELTS test by achieving a minimum of 4 all areas i.e. listening, reading, writing and speaking
• Preserve independence & dignity of Services User/Client’s as much as possible.
• Managing any incontinence with both dignity and respect
• Report any changes/issues concerning the Service User/client or the care being provided to the office team
• Observation of mental alertness and general physical condition
• Reading and abiding by the care plan set out by the assessor in the Service User/client's guide
• Supporting and understanding each individual Service User/client's needs
• To report back any areas of risk, not previously identified, to manager
• Maintain confidentiality and committing not to divulge information to third parties unless consent to share information has been given in writing and agreed with the Manager
• To work in accordance with your job description/contract of employment and any policies and guidelines of Betna Agencies LTD
