💚 As part of , we're shining a spotlight on the amazing people who help make Nottingham a cleaner, greener place to live.

One of those volunteers is Alma Davies, a Nottingham Clean Champion and Volunteer Ward Co-ordinator for Clifton, who helps bring local people together to care for their community.

💬 "It's so satisfying driving a team of amazing volunteers who are keen to keep where we live litter-free. The activity is very satisfying, keeps the body and mind exercised, and there's a great sense of achievement and pride!"

Volunteering is about more than making a difference to your local area – it's also a great way to stay active, support your wellbeing and connect with others in your community. 🌱✨

A huge thank you to Alma and all our Nottingham Clean Champions for everything they do. 🙌

🚭 Seven out of nine businesses failed a recent underage v**e test purchase operation carried out by our Trading Standards team and Nottinghamshire Police ⚠️

Selling v**es to children is illegal and puts young people at risk. We will continue working with partners to crack down on businesses that break the law and help keep Nottingham's communities safe.

The operation supports the aims of Operation Reclaim and highlights the continued need to tackle the illegal sale of age-restricted products to children and young people.
