🎶💃 A Trip Down Memory Lane! 🕺🎶
Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying a lively sing-along filled with classic favourites from years gone by.
There was plenty of laughter, singing, and even a little dancing as everyone joined in with much-loved songs, including the ever-popular Hokey Cokey! 🎵
Music has a special way of bringing people together, sparking happy memories, and putting smiles on faces. It was fantastic to see our residents singing along, sharing stories, and enjoying each other's company.
Days like these remind us that you're never too old to have fun and make wonderful memories! ❤️

Meet Leanne — one of our wonderful Care Staff!
Leanne has been part of the Westwolds team for 4 years, providing excellent care, support, and companionship to our residents every day.

Leanne says she enjoys being part of such a friendly and caring team and loves making a difference in residents’ lives.

✨ Fun fact: Leanne is actually a qualified mechanic! 🔧🚗

🐟🍟 Happy National Fish and Chip Day! 🍟🐟
Today our residents enjoyed a traditional British favourite for lunch as we celebrated National Fish and Chip Day here at Westwolds Care Home.
There were plenty of smiles around the dining room as everyone tucked into freshly cooked fish and crispy chips, bringing back fond memories and sparking conversations about seaside trips, family holidays, and favourite fish and chip shops from years gone by.
It's always wonderful to see how food can bring people together and create moments of joy and reminiscence.
A delicious lunch enjoyed by all! ❤️

Today is national egg day! In honour of this, our residents have been having eggs of their choice for breakfast! We have had scrambled, fried, poached and boiled!

🌟 Meet Tammy – One of Our Dedicated Care Staff 🌟

Tammy has worked at Westwolds for just under 7 years and has been a valued member of our team throughout that time.

Fun fact: Westwolds is the only place Tammy has ever worked!

Tammy first joined us as a tea-time kitchen assistant before moving into care. Since then, she has continued to develop her skills and knowledge and has recently completed her NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

We’re proud of Tammy’s journey and the commitment she shows to both our residents and her colleagues every day. Congratulations on your achievement, Tammy! 👏🌟

We were delighted to welcome some very special visitors today—this time in miniature form! 🐾
There’s nothing quite like the joy that our furry friends bring to our residents. The smiles on their faces say it all as they enjoyed cuddles and companionship with these adorable little bundles of fluff.
Animal visits are always a highlight, creating wonderful moments, encouraging interaction, and bringing comfort and happiness to everyone involved. After all, who can resist a snuggle with a tiny ball of fluff?
