Everyone is welcome and there will be bikes and helmets available to borrow. There's no need to book, just show up on the day.

Strong winds, reaching gale force at times, are forecast across Nottingham for most of tomorrow as Storm Austen passes through.

Please take care if you’re visiting our parks and green spaces, and be aware that conditions may be hazardous, particularly around trees and woodland areas.

We advise visitors to take extra care, especially as winds can cause branches to fall. Your safety is important to us – if you do visit:

• Be mindful of your surroundings
• Keep a safe distance from trees and woodland areas

If the weather becomes particularly severe, please consider postponing your visit until conditions improve.

We are very excited about the approval of the Parks for People Programme!📣

We cannot wait to work towards improving Nottingham's parks, play areas and green spaces over the next three years, so watch this space.

We plan on making our parks and open spaces fully accessible for all residents of the city, protecting wildlife, supporting biodiversity and a place for all to enjoy! 💚

£3 million is set to improve Nottingham’s parks, play areas and green spaces 🌳

The Parks for People programme will bring improvements to all 20 wards over the next three years, including upgrades to play areas, making parks easier for everyone to get around and enjoy, and projects to support wildlife.

Approved by the Council’s Executive Board this week, the programme will help create greener, more welcoming spaces for communities across the city.

We’re stoked to announce a new programme of free skateboard coaching sessions at several of our favourite Nottingham City skateparks; King Edward Park, The Ashley Mabbott skatepark at Broxtowe Country Park, and !
Skate Nottingham's team of qualified skateboard coaches will be hosting sessions every Saturday. 4 sessions are open to everyone, all ages (7+) sessions, and one session (on 3rd October at Broxtowe Country Park) is a dedicated adults-only coaching session. ⁣ All are free-of-charge, with free helmet and skateboard loan:
11:00 - 12:30 each week!⁣
