A recent article from GasSafe suggests unsafe gas appliances have been found in a fifth (21%) of privately-rented accommodation. Leading to the belief 2.7m people could be living in unsafe housing.
Worryingly despite it being the Land Lords responsibility to ensure the safety check has been completed 37% are actually unaware it is their responsibility and 7% actually thought it was the down the local council.
