Surayya Raoof Education & Health Trust

Our friends and the extended family are aware of the devastating loss that we suffered in March 2011 with Surayya’s sudden death . A charitable trust fund has been established for her lasting memory with the specific aim of promoting health and education in Pakistan, by providing financial help direct to deserving individuals and groups.

Since its inception SEHT has donated medical equipment, education fees, medicines and cash contributions towards building costs of health and education facilities in Pakistan, worth over Rs. 20 millio. This has been done directly as well as in collaboration with established charity organisations. These have included Aabroo Education Welfare, Akhuwat, Decent Welfare Society and Cleft Hospital in Gujrat, Patient Welfare Society at Inmol in Lahore, Aziz Jehan Begum Trust for the Blind.
