I have just had a visit from Karl Barrow who is the secretary of Energy for Erewash saying that they should be able to obtain grant funding towards putting solar panels on community and commercial buildings.
The meeting on Thursday could be interesting.

Last night we had two members of the Long Eaton Business Partnership who came along to expain what their group is trying to achive and offer support so that we can all work together to help business in the town grow and survive.

We in the Chamber are working on the issuses of today and the Parnership are working on longer term growth for the years to come.

It was a very productive and friendly meeting and we look forwards to a productive collaboration between our groups.

Next meeting is at 1800 weds 4th march at the Wade springs Business Building on Wellington street. If you're a business representative or owner you are more than welcome to come along to our meetings.

As part of our meeting on Wednesday we had a guest speaker to advise our members about cyber security. Scary stuff.
