Earlier this week, our Fire Investigation dogs Ginny and Barney were put through their paces at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground 🐾🐶

The duo carried out specialist training to detect accelerants within a stadium environment, helping ensure they’re ready to respond in complex, real-world settings.

Great work by Ginny, Barney, and their handlers to help keep our communities safe! 👏

Our trainee firefighters have had yet another busy week but this time they've been putting their extrication skills to the test. They even got to use our new RTC tools! 🛠️

They've only got a few more weeks left until their final assessments - keep up the great work! 👏🧑‍🚒

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has launched a new road safety campaign ahead of the Men’s World Cup, bringing together partners from across the county to encourage everyone to enjoy the tournament safely.

The campaign was officially launched at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground, where partners came together to promote key road safety messages.

Throughout June and July, we’re working with local football clubs including Notts County Football Club, Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Town Football Club alongside licensed venues across the county—including a number of Greene King sites—to help reduce incidents on our roads and keep our communities safe.
