๐ A huge congratulations to Professor John King, our esteemed Professor of Theoretical Mechanics, on being elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society! ๐ง ๐ฌ
This prestigious honour recognises his outstanding contributions to mathematical sciences. He now joins the ranks of Stephen Hawking, Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Lise Meitner, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar and Dorothy Hodgkin. Weโre incredibly proud to have such a distinguished scholar in our department.
