Well, as you can see, Newstead Abbeys 1940's Weekend is on again in 2023 16/17th Sept.

We are looking for more living history groups to attend this fantastic setting, we have acres of living history camping, space for plastic camping.

We are looking for Vintage stall holders to come along , 1930/40' cars, trucks, buses, bikes etc.

What many dont realise is that the site has two large fields at the rear (20 acres) as well as its, gardens, lakes, abbey ruins, abbey itself , along with cafe area and good parking.

The abbey is roughly 1/2 mile from the road and anything modern and so has not changed much since the 1940's.

Lastly, we have a skirmish field which is one of the best you will see
