170 Engineer Group

With the upcoming disbandment of 170 Engineer Group and subsequent renaming of the unit this page will no longer be the main page on Facebook or any of our related social media sites.
A newly named page for all our sites is being created and will move over to these at the end of this month in line with the unit name change.

So all our Reserves are Specialists within their Works Groups and Teams but they are all need to remain current with their soldiering skills. They recently deployed on Ex Martello Nothe where they undertook a series of patrolling, Indiscriminate Fire Drills and Battlefield Casualty Drills.

Last weekend our first Insight day of the year took place at Chetwynd bks.
11 potential new recruits came and saw what we can offer them as Specialist Army Reserves and what they can offer us. A series of briefings and Command tasks were undertaken. Those that fit the bill will now undertake the Recruiting process.
