๐ Wing Band Rehearsal ๐
Corporal Scully and Cadet Adhikari recently attended a South And East Midlands Wing Band Rehearsal. The day consisted of music practice, marching band rehearsals and an opportunity for cadets to work in sections to develop their music abilities.
Cadet Adhikari said โI was really nervous at first but thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was nice to meet fellow musicians within South and East Midlands Wingโ.

๐ Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 ๐
As RIAT 2026 is on the horizon, Flight Sergeant L Wright, Sergeant Guta and Corporals Camm and Gdaniec have been reminiscing about their exciting time at RIAT last year. Throughout the duration of the camp, they supported with the set up and pack down, handed out leaflets, guided the public as well as got the opportunity to watch the shows.
Flight Sergeant L Wright said โit was a fun and enjoyable experience to learn more about the different aircraft as well we meet new people from across the RAFACโ.

๐ Silver Leadership Course ๐
Corporal Ludewig attended a Silver Leadership Course. The weekend involved lessons including the art of delegation, personality types and how to use these as a strength. They also taught how every role in a group is in important and how to use individualโs personality types to align them best to a role.
Corporal Ludewig said โIt was a very informative, highly enjoyable course. I learnt a lot of new things and gained deeper understanding of topics I was already aware ofโ.

๐ Senior NCO Course ๐
Recently, Corporal Hicks attended the South And East Midlands Wing Senior NCO Course. The course consisted of lessons in management, debating, presenting and much more.
Corporal Hicks said โI thought it was a really interesting course and allowed me to develop as a cadet and NCO as well as make new friends across South And East Midlands Wingโ.

๐ Initial NCO Course ๐
Corporal Gdaniec attended the South And East Midlands Wing Initial NCO Course earlier this year. The weekend consisted of lessons in drill, uniform, leadership, communication and much more.
Corporal Gdaniec said โAs I looked to move into a Junior NCO position at 504 Squadron, it was a great opportunity to gain an understanding of the roles of Junior NCO and develop my foot drill as well as my ability as drill ICโ.

๐ Central & East Region Band Weekend ๐
Corporal Scully recently joined other cadets from across Central & East Region for a music camp. The weekend consisted of marching band and concert band rehearsals, with an opportunity to work on pieces seen previously and learn new pieces such as Aladdin.
Corporal Scully said โI really enjoy being part of the Central & East Region Band, I learnt a lot from the weekend and even had the chance to lead the band as the primary Drum majorโ.

๐ Gold Duke Of Edinburgh Practice Expedition ๐
Last year Flight Sergeant Wright and Sergeant Wright headed to Wye Valley in Wales to complete their Gold Duke Of Edinburgh practice expedition where they were self-sufficient for 4 days and 3 nights.
We look forward to you completing your live expedition later in the year and achieving your Gold Duke Of Edinburgh qualification!

๐ Fire Station Visit ๐
Team 504 recently had an amazing visit to Stockhill Fire Station.
They met firefighters, learned about fire safety, explored the equipment, and asked some brilliant questions about what it takes to do the job. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe.
