What a fantastic evening at Oldham Air Cadets!

Our cadets enjoyed watching last night’s eclipse together — a brilliant opportunity to look up, learn a bit about space and share a memorable experience. 🌌🔭

Yesterday we were invited to attend a very special event where 11 Commonwealth War Graves Commission graves and headstones were dedicated.
These were part of the CWWGC operation "brought in from the cold".
The event was held by the Oldham Branch RBL, and we joined various other associations from our local area, and we're honoured to be joined by the Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester Mrs Diane Hawkins JP LLB and the Mayor of Oldham, Cllr Pam Byrne

This week saw our latest recruit flight 'passing-out' and formally being enrolled as cadets and a part of the squadron family.
This time we were honoured to have our VIP guest and parade inspector as none other than Oldham's finest Frank Rothwell
With thanks to all the families and staff for supporting our young people in their journey with us.

A couple of weeks ago the cadets were asked if they could assist at the annual Oldham Mayors Ball with meeting and greeting his VIP guests.
Not only did they do a fabulous job of escorting his guests to the VIP room, they had the opportunity to meet other mayors from across Great Manchester along with other Civic VIPs
