Some conversations are harder to start than others.

From 16–20 November, Let’s Talk About… Death, Dying and Grief returns to Libraries NI with a week of free events exploring how we understand, experience and talk about death and grief.

Through history, storytelling, folklore, creativity and support, this year’s programme looks at everything from the Irish wake and medieval burial to memorial cards, baby loss and our changing understanding of grief. Events will take place in libraries and online.

All events are free - Explore the programme and book your place 👉 https://orlo.uk/CzEKd

What do you love about your library? 😍

Maybe it's the books.
The people who know exactly what to recommend next.
A group you've become part of.
Somewhere to bring the children.
A quiet hour with a newspaper.
Or something completely different.

On Wednesday 21 October, we're celebrating Love Your Library Day across all 96 Libraries NI libraries – and we'd love you to be part of it. 💜

Look out for more details in your local library and across our social channels during Book Week NI! 📚
