📢 Expressions of Interest Invited – Economic Inactivity Trailblazer

Do you deliver activities that help people overcome barriers, improve their wellbeing and build confidence to take their next steps towards employment?

Pembrokeshire County Council’s Futureworks service is inviting Expressions of Interest to deliver activities supporting economically inactive adults across Pembrokeshire.

We are looking for flexible, inclusive and engaging activities that help people address barriers such as poor health and wellbeing, low confidence, social isolation and caring responsibilities.

Opportunities include three areas of activity:

Health and wellbeing – activities that improve wellbeing, confidence and readiness to engage.

Specialist support – activities that help address barriers and disadvantage.

Community-based activities – opportunities to build skills, connections and confidence through practical, creative and social activities.

We welcome interest from a wide range of providers, including third-sector organisations, community groups, independent providers and local businesses with relevant experience.

Rydym yn chwilio am weithgareddau hyblyg, cynhwysol a deniadol sy’n helpu pobl i fynd i’r afael â rhwystrau fel iechyd a lles gwael, diffyg hyder, unigedd cymdeithasol a chyfrifoldebau gofalu.

Mae’r cyfleoedd yn cynnwys tri maes gweithgaredd:

Iechyd a lles – gweithgareddau sy’n gwella lles, hyder a pharodrwydd i gymryd rhan.

Cymorth arbenigol – gweithgareddau sy’n helpu i fynd i’r afael â rhwystrau ac anfantais.

Gweithgareddau cymunedol – cyfleoedd i feithrin sgiliau, cysylltiadau a hyder trwy weithgareddau ymarferol, creadigol a chymdeithasol.

Croesawn ddiddordeb gan ystod eang o ddarparwyr, gan gynnwys sefydliadau’r trydydd sector, grwpiau cymunedol, darparwyr annibynnol a busnesau lleol sydd â phrofiad perthnasol.

Yesterday evening, our Communities for Work+ and LGF teams (pictured alongside the Chief Environmental Services Officer) attended Pembrokeshire County Councils Waste & Environmental Services Recruitment Open Evening at Pembrokeshire Eco Park.

It was great to offer support and advice to people interested in the available vacancies, as well as share information about how we can help with training opportunities and overcoming barriers to employment, such as transport, childcare and more!
