Please donate or share. Rob is a dedicated Father and Husband and spent 14 years helping other as a member of the Sennen cover RNLI lifeboat crew. Rob has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. This devastating news has come as a huge shock to Rob, Emily, Bonnie, and all those who know and care about them. While Rob is approaching this battle with the same courage, determination, and resilience that have defined so much of his life, the road ahead will undoubtedly be difficult.
As treatment begins, Rob and his family should be able to focus entirely on what matters most and spending precious time together. The financial pressures that often accompany a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming.
One of Rob’s wishes is to make the most of the time ahead with his family and friends. We hope to create a welcoming space within their family home where Rob, Bonnie and Emily can spend precious time together, enjoy everyday moments and make lasting memories. The space would meet Rob’s needs and enable him to remain comfortable and close to the heart of family life.
The fundraiser will also help Rob access the best possible care and explore emerging treatments that may not be readily available through standard pathways. As new therapies continue to develop, having the financial means to investigate and pursue additional treatment options could make a meaningful difference. Currently Rob has been advised that he may only have 6 months to 2 years life expectancy , so any hope we can find would make a massive impact.
Anyone who knows Rob knows that he would be the first person to step forward and help someone in need. Through his years of service with the RNLI, his dedication to his community, and the support he has given to friends and family, he has always put others first. Now it is our turn to support him.
