🆕 Starting on Saturday 27 June, this Tiny Glass Cabinet exhibition by artist Morven Stewart, created in collaboration with Our Seas—a coalition promoting sustainable coastal use—explores Scotland’s landscapes through careful observation and sketching.
The work encourages a deeper appreciation of the country’s mountains and coastlines while emphasising their conservation, capturing fleeting, atmospheric moments shaped by light, weather and place, and reflecting the emotional connection between land and sea.
Morven Stewart - Artist and Wanderer👇
Morven Stewart’s wanderings take her from snow-capped summits to sandy shores. Although she is based at Perth Creative Exchange, her practice is largely nomadic, often carried out from a rucksack or bike panniers as she travels across Scotland. When working outdoors, the weather determines her materials: watercolours and inks on calm, sunlit days, and oils or pastels in the midst of gales and storms. This responsive approach results in work that is immediate and expressive, rooted in the experience of being immersed in the landscape.
📅 On display from 27 June until 26 September 2026 at North Inch Community Library during library opening hours.

Artist Miami Mohsin arrived in Scotland from Iraq over 25 years ago, beginning a new life filled with both challenge and hope. After earning her Contemporary Art degree from the University of the Highlands and Islands (2019), she dedicated her work to supporting refugees and asylum seekers through creativity.
Through her volunteer art classes at ESOL Perth, Miami uses art as a universal language that brings people from different cultures together. In her classroom, colour, shape, and texture replace words, allowing participants to express their stories, emotions, and identities.
This exhibition presents artworks created by refugees and asylum seekers living in Scotland. Each piece reflects resilience, cultural exchange, and the search for belonging. “When art becomes connection, belonging follows.”
