The Highland Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland is as integral a part of 7 SCOTS. Within the Royal Corps of Army Music the Band is one of the repository for and authority on Scottish music in all its forms. As such it has a crucial responsibility to maintain and build the repertoire of Scottish music, to keep alive the folk / ceilidh band tradition and to promote the work of composers who have served in one or other of the Scottish regiments.
