📰 **Introducing Beeches News – Our First Edition!** 🐝

We are really excited to share the **very first edition of Beeches News**, our brand-new newspaper created by our talented pupil News Team!

The children have worked incredibly hard to put this together, with interviews, book reviews, poetry, environmental news and even a competition to design our newspaper mascot!

A huge well done to our young journalists and the staff who have supported them. It's a fantastic achievement, and we're very proud of what they've produced.

**Please take a few minutes to have a read and support our budding journalists!** 🌟

⭐ STAR OF THE WEEK ⭐

Each week, we celebrate one of our school’s core values with our Star of the Week! 🌟

We’ll be looking out for children who demonstrate this value through their actions, attitudes and choices throughout the week.

We can’t wait to celebrate our Stars of the Week! 🏆💙

To celebrate our Year 4 Times Tables Rock Stars Parent Café on Tuesday 20th October, we would love to invite all of our Year 4 children to come to school dressed as a ROCK STAR!

There is absolutely no need to buy a special costume – children can create their rock-star look using things they already have at home.

Rock Star Outfit Ideas

Children could wear:

⭐ A colourful or band T-shirt

🎸 Jeans, leggings or ripped-style trousers

🕶️ Sunglasses

🎤 A denim or leather-style jacket

✨ Sparkly or sequinned clothes

🎀 Bright hair accessories or temporary coloured hair spray

🤘 Wristbands or sweatbands

⭐ Face paint or stick-on stars

🎸 An inflatable or homemade cardboard guitar

Or simply come dressed in bright colours with a funky hairstyle!

Please make sure that outfits and footwear are comfortable and suitable for wearing throughout the school day.

We can’t wait to see Year 4 transformed into a school full of Times Tables Rock Stars!

Parents and carers are then warmly invited to join us for our Parent Café at 2:15 p.m. to find out more about Times Tables Rock Stars and how you can support your child at home.
