Nancy has been with us every step of the way throughout the Politely Rebellious journey, and it’s safe to say we’re very grateful to have her in our corner 🩷

From the very beginning of both of our CIC journeys, we’ve supported and celebrated one another, and that’s something really special.

We truly believe that there is room for everyone to succeed. The best kind of success is when we lift others up alongside us, celebrate their wins as if they were our own and remember that we’re never in competition when we’re working towards making a difference.

It’s always beautiful to get together, share ideas, talk about what’s next, and most importantly, explore how we can continue to support the people and communities around us!

Meet Role Model Bianca Brathwaite 💛 Bianca Louise

Bianca is a passionate business development professional, wellbeing advocate and community builder with over 16 years of experience across the corporate and community sectors. Through her work in business, partnerships, and wellbeing, she brings people together, builds relationships, and creates opportunities for positive change.

As the founder of Mindset Maintenance CIC, Bianca delivers workshops and events focused on wellbeing, resilience and personal development. Alongside her busy work life, she is also a qualified Personal Trainer, Les Mills BODYCOMBAT instructor, Hormones on The Blink facilitator and NHS peer researcher.

As a Next Gen Role Model, Bianca brings her experience in business, fitness and wellbeing to help young people explore different career paths, develop confidence, and understand the value of building meaningful connections. She is passionate about encouraging young people to step outside of their comfort zones, embrace change, and recognise that there are many different routes to success 🤝

A huge congratulations to the students at The Harbour School who have completed our 6-week VOYCE programme! 🎉

Next Gen’s VOYCE is all about helping young people recognise their potential, build confidence and explore what their future could look like.

Over the six weeks, the students have heard from inspiring role models, explored personal and professional journeys, set goals, created vision boards and visited Mountjoy’s & PRNG’s head offices to gain an insight into the world of work.

They’ve also worked together on ideas, explored real-world projects and had the opportunity to learn from people with lived experience who are passionate about helping young people succeed.

It’s been brilliant to see them get involved and feel confident enough to share their ideas! We hope they’ve come away with fresh perspectives and a little more confidence in what they can achieve.

On Monday, Kosh delivered three anti-racism workshops at Portsmouth College’s Highbury Campus as part of the college’s Personal Development Week 🤝

Drawing on his personal journey, Kosh shares the challenges he faced growing up, the experiences that shaped him and how he has built his career to where he is today.

The workshops explored microaggressions and the challenges people can face as a result of their background, alongside key terms such as asylum seekers, refugees, immigration and anti-racism, helping students understand what these words mean and why they matter.

Throughout the sessions, Kosh encouraged students to reflect on their own perspectives and recognise that everyone has different experiences that shape how they see the world. Understanding these differences, listening to others and being open to different points of view are all important steps towards building more inclusive communities.

A huge thank you to Portsmouth College for inviting us to deliver these sessions and for creating space for such important conversations!

We believe that sharing lived experiences, challenging perceptions and creating opportunities for young people to learn are all part of building a more inclusive future🖤
