Hidden away in the heart of Preston’s old Industrial Docklands, Ribble Steam Railway has itself been greeting visitors since 2005.

Whatever the weather, you can expect a warm and friendly welcome from Ribble Steam’s team of committed volunteers. Whether you are a keen steam enthusiast, or just simply looking for a fun and relaxed day out, Ribble Steam offers a memorable experience of Lancashire’s world famous Industrial heritage. Visit the museum discover the history of Preston docks and the story of the first electric trains. Did you know Preston once had a key role in designing and building trains, close to docks, that were then exported all over the World? There is always much to explore in the “hands on” museum and you may be curious about the “engineering goings on” in the workshops. Watch treasured industrial engines and locomotives being lovingly restored behind the scenes. Remember to check out the RSR shop to find a memento by of your visit, special gift, specialist publication or popular railway character memorabilia. Look out for art activities and special events such as Steam or Diesel Galas, exhibitions, Friendly Engines, Family Fun on our Teddy Bears Specials, Classic Car Day on Father's Day, Model Tramways weekend and our Ever popular Santa Specials. Most of our running days offer unlimited travel and each journey takes approx 35 mins.

🚂 The Little Screamin Heritage Railway is running its annual Halloween Express to Killingam Hall, where a Halloween-themed Walled Garden Event is taking place.

🩸 Sadly, prior to the opening, the body of Madge Hickwand has been discovered in the Halloween Garden. Was it an accident, or was it **MURDER?** 🔪

🕵️ Interview the suspects and discover whodunit before the Police arrive!

🕸️ **EVENT DETAILS**

🕓 Check-in opens at **4.00pm**. Check in with Count Dracula, then watch out for any strange and spooky activities going on in our museum.

⏰ We request that you arrive by **4.30pm at the latest** to ensure that the train can depart on time.

🚂 The first train trip leaves at **5.00pm**.

🍟 Your Fish & Chip supper will be served to you on this trip. This includes a bottle of water and a flapjack.

🍺 Alcoholic refreshments will be available to purchase from the buffet car on the train.
