Yesterday, five of our Year 8 pupils represented our school at the Children's Cancer Run awards. It was lovely to hear how the money raised by us from the run has helped so many children with cancer. We were awarded a certificate for raising £3876.63! What an amazing amount! Thank you so much to everyone who did the run with us and helped raise this total! Looking forward to next year's event already - Sunday 16th May! Save the date!

On Friday we had a fantastic morning of rugby at Corbridge Middle School. Our year 8 boys team played Highfield and Corbridge Middle School and were undefeated and played some superb rugby. It was our year 7’s first rugby match and the progression they made across the matches was brilliant. Well
Done to everyone who took part.

A huge merci/gracias/danke to everyone who took part in and helped organise Languages Week this year!

OMS pupils have enjoyed a range of MFL activities, themed lessons, games, music and special events. A particular shout-out to Miss Tyler and our Language Ambassadors for their enthusiasm!

From multicultural dancing for KS2 (French country dancing, Spanish flamenco and USA street dance!) and a French breakfast for KS3 (croissants and chocolat chaud!) to our hugely popular cake competition and bake sale (winners to be announced soon!), we've had a brilliant time celebrating languages and cultures.

Thank you all for your support in making Languages Week such a success!
