Help Keep Our Village Roads Safer

Ringmer's Speedwatch team are looking for friendly volunteers to support their campaign to encourage safer driving throughout the village.

There are 6 Speedwatch sites across the village that need monitoring, and they'd love a few more helping hands!

All that is needed is is just 2 hours of your time per month.

If you are interested and would like more information, please visit- communityspeedwatch.org .

To join the Ringmer group please contact Ray at [email protected] or directly from communityspeedwatch.org via: - Register-Join Existing Group-Sussex-Lewes District-Ringmer RADAR-Registration Form. "

: Speeding has reached epidemic proportions and calls for a paradigm shift in the way we tackle it. That shift must include a change in the perception and management of community volunteers involvement with road safety. https://web2.communityspeedwatch.org/FRONT-v2-The_Scheme.php...

Fingerpost Field

The Parish Council is looking at ways we can improve Fingerpost Field and add new facilities for the community.

To help shape the plans, Cllr West will be at the field on Sunday 11th October at 3pm to hear your ideas and suggestions.

We’d particularly love to hear from anyone who uses pump tracks. If you have experience of them, come along and let us know what you think a potential pump track at Fingerpost Field should include. 🚴‍♀️

Everyone is welcome – come along, share your thoughts and help us make the most of this great community space!

Fingerpost Field

We’ll be showing some initial ideas for how Fingerpost Field could be developed and improved, including the possibility of a pump track.

Nothing is decided — we want to hear what local people think. And we’d particularly love to hear from children and young people about what they would like to see at Fingerpost Field. Bring them along and let them share their ideas! 💭
