🎃 Yesterday, we celebrated our 100 Club students who achieved 100% attendance during Half Term 1. A fantastic 162 students earned their place in the club and enjoyed a Halloween-themed celebration, complete with treats as a reward for their excellent attendance.

We also held a special raffle, with Poppy in Y8 winning a fantastic Halloween hamper. Congratulations, Poppy!

Even more students have joined the 100 Club this year compared with the same point last year, which is a brilliant achievement. Well done to everyone who has worked hard to maintain their attendance.

👻 This week in Arts and Crafts Club, students have been getting into the Halloween spirit by creating their own ghostly tea light holders! They hand built their ghosts using clay, adding spooky faces and fun Halloween accessories to make each creation unique. Once fired in the kiln, the students used glazes to paint their ghosts in a variety of colours.

The activity gave students the opportunity to develop their clay modelling and painting skills while exploring 3D art and design. Their finished creations are now ready to take home and display just in time for Halloween!

We're delighted to share the next edition of our WPT KS3 Reading Newsletter.

Take a look at the newsletter to see:
- The books our students have been reading over the last six weeks.
- A book recommendation from a member of staff.
- Simple tips and ideas to help encourage reading at home.

Reading regularly helps to develop vocabulary, confidence, creativity and wellbeing, and just 20 minutes of reading each day can make a real difference.

We hope you enjoy seeing what our students have been reading and perhaps discover some new favourites along the way. Happy reading! 📚

📸 Last Friday, Y11 Photography students visited Sheffield city centre to capture its wonderful architecture as part of their Photography coursework. Throughout the day, the students explored the city, photographing a range of landmarks, including the cathedral and the Winter Garden, as well as visiting the Millennium Gallery for further inspiration.

The students represented Thrybergh brilliantly, showing maturity and enthusiasm throughout the trip. They captured some fantastic photographs and made the most of the opportunity to develop their skills outside the classroom. Well done, Year 11!
