ANOTHER update for Weekends activities.
Saturday from 0930 to 1130 I was Blessed to be a part of the newly relocated Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club.
The newly launched last Saturday of the Month Breakfast Special for our Nations Finest, is now at The Red Lion, Brereton Kindly Hosted by Tony and Sharon a Veteran Couple and Great Champions of the Community.
The Brek went amazingly well, all attending enjoyed a quality breakfast in very friendly and comfortable surroundings.
The Staffordshire Corps of Drums supported the event and made the Morning that little bit extra special.
Mr Baz Barrett MBE also chose to make the event that little bit more special. Details to follow.
Welldone all that made this event happen, and welldone to the Venue which included the General in assisting the smooth transition.

Saturday Nights Mission. Attend the Staffordshire Regimental Association / OCA Rugeley Dinner Night Dance at Lea Hall Miners Club. A few Ports gave the legs motivation to cut some shapes on the Dance floor with a few I served with and many I grew up with.
An absolute belter of a Night, made all the better with The Good Folk of the Crown Scott and Ashley who Bid and won the Auction of the L/Sgt Baskeyfield Postumous VC winner at Arnhem WWII. A mighty £200 raised for the Branch and a good home found for this County and Regiment piece of History and Pride at a Veterans Public House in Rugeley Town. 🇬🇧🔔🔔🔔

Saturday 0700 in town for the setup of the Pumpkin Patch and assist the Council in prep for Market. After a full walkabout town. Sweeping Glass and picking up tinnies n fag butt's. The District rubbish wagon came and swept up!! Greg's for Coffee before a recorded Proclamation to invite the kids of Rugeley to come and have fun and get a free Pumpkin.
A Great Day for the short people.

A meet and greet, MC duties, awards of the mandatory Lion Bar of which I was a proud recipient and a cheeky Proclamation to boot.
