Good morning 🎄❤️ And we are all systems go 😁 as of today we are collecting for these lovely shoeboxes, individual gifts to go to our local seniors. Remember we will support Penrice geriatric wards, individuals, those within home care groups who normally only see their carers. So many people benefit from these donations and the looks on their faces is priceless 🥰 knowing that someone, or a group of someone's have thought about them is often the best Christmas gift they can receive 💓 so let's make this year as special as the last 6 years. If your rubbish or recycling is due to be collected on Friday, please put it out early in the morning rather than overnight, and only do so if it’s safe. Make sure everything is secure so that it doesn't blow away in the strong winds.

Just a reminder to put your bins/recycling/food waste out the night before collection this week due to the amber health weather warning

We're expecting more hot weather over the coming days, so our waste and recycling crews will be starting earlier than usual to try and beat the heat.

From Wednesday, July 8 to Friday, July 10, please make sure your bins, bags and sacks are out for collection before 6am.

Thank you for helping us keep our crews safe while they work in the hot weather.

Support is available for vulnerable residents following Storm Goretti.

Many items such as community equipment, electric hoists, stairlifts and pressure-relieving mattresses have manual or backup options, but we want to make sure everyone remains safe and supported.

If you're worried about your equipment, its backup arrangements, or your ability to manage during the outage, please contact us as soon as possible. We can assess your situation and, where needed, consider alternative solutions or replacements to help keep you safe and comfortable.
