Not long now until our next music night 🪗

Come see Dalla Duo this Thursday for a celebration of the very best of Cornish traditional music in all its varied glory, from wild and mesmerising dance tunes to beautifully haunting slower pieces. This includes instrumentals on bouzouki and clarinet, as well as songs in Cornish and in English.

All tickets are equal, simply pick the price you wish to pay (between £6 and £15). Age 12 and under free. Pasties available, pre-order essential - £6.95 each

Doors open at 6.30pm, performance starts at 7.00pm.

We can't wait for our Christmas Craft Fair!

Join us on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November for our annual craft fair with lots of special individual gift ideas.

Peruse a variety of handcrafted goods made in Cornwall ranging from ceramics, bags, paintings, cushions and jewellery to bird houses, crocheted toys, wood turned items and much more.

The café will be open offering delicious treats. 🧁

Time: 10.00am to 4.00pm on both days
Price: Free entry to craft fair (normal admission fee applies to the museum and grounds)

Have a go at making your own Festive Tree Decorations at our new workshop on Saturday 7 November!

Prepare for Christmas by making your own festive tree decoration - perfect for a gift or just to treat yourself. 🎄

Your work will be ready in time to collect before Christmas. No experience necessary as all guidance will be given.

Level: Beginners, from age five welcome. Any child under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Workshop duration: Up to one hour
Price: £15.00 per person

Your ornament can be posted to you or a loved one for £5.00 per item. 🎁

Need some wet weather activity plans for this week?

Join us this Thursday or Friday for pottery painting! 🖌🎨

Open 11am to 3pm on the 29 and 30 of October. Drop in for some creative time, no need to book.

Pottery prices range from £6.00 depending on item selected for painting (in addition to normal museum admission fee).

Beginners, from age 4 welcome. Any child under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Come along to our workshop and have a go at making a pinch pot!

This workshop is great if you are wanting to try out pottery because it is a simple yet effective way to make a beautiful pot. Once your pot is made you get to decorate it with a range of different coloured slips to bring your creation to life.

Don’t worry if you are new to this, you will be given supervision and guidance from our pottery instructor throughout the workshop to ensure that you come away with a unique and beautiful creation.

📅 Available on Saturday 31 October, 10am to 12pm. Price: £25.00 per person.
