Sawdon Village A great Village with a fantastic community. With plenty of walking, cycling, horse riding and lots going on at our village hall there's always plenty to do

Sawdon is a little gem of a village, hidden away in the National Park, just off the A170. A hive of community spirited activity constantly takes place, with a very active Village Hall (that has been recently refurbished) committee, that ensures there is something fun throughout the year for all age groups. The Village also hosts The Anvil Inn - a fine dining experience balanced with a 'local' for the regulars. There are many self employed entrepreneurs living within the village, adding to the rich tapestry of characters, talents and abilities. Sawdon Dale is a beautiful place to get back to nature and take some real time out as you walk through some of the most beautiful countryside the area has to offer. And there are plenty of places to stop and stay for a few nights in either a local B&B, camp site, or holiday cottage.
