Cumberland Local Plan Scoping Consultation Document is avaliable to view in the Library.

What are the key priorities, challenges and opportunities that should help shape Cumberland's future? How should communities be involved as the new Local Plan is prepared?

We are inviting residents, businesses, community groups and stakeholders to help shape the new Cumberland Local Plan through a six-week scoping consultation.
Your feedback will help identify the key issues, opportunities and priorities for Cumberland and inform the next stages of the plan, which will guide future development across the area.

The consultation opens today (Monday 14 September) and closes on 23 October 2026.

For our regular Saturday Lego friends I'm afraid because of the Coffee Morning there will be no lego 🙁 But you are still welcome to come along for Cakes, Crafts and a Bottlebola 🍰
