As part of Herefordshire Council's investment into highways, Church Road in Sellack will be resurfaced soon.
We report road issues to Hereforshire council and we encourage residents to do the same, as this helps to build a picture of road conditions across the Parish.
Thanks to our Ward Member for listening to and acting on our reports and for helping to ensure this particular road is now being fully resurfaced.
There will be a full road closure from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd October, from 8am to 5pm each day. This is subject to change in certain circumstances e.g. bad weather.

What a glorious evening for our Backney Bridge Picnic Site working group meeting, last night. 11 of us took our deck chairs up to the viewing point to discuss volunteer days, fencing, wildflowers, water quality, tree planting and lots more. With the birds chirruping away in the gloaming, it has to be the very best setting for a meeting! The working group's recommendations will be made to the Parish Council, at its November meeting.
Special thanks to our local volunteers who have been keeping our new cherry trees well watered, over the summer period.

We have a fabulous team of volunteers and councillors who look after Backney Bridge picnic site, and we are doing our very best to keep the site clean and tidy.
On a recent visit, Cllr Emma picked up this lot in the car park.
Please continue to help us, when visiting the site, by taking your rubbish home with you and picking up after your dog, so that everyone can continue to enjoy this beautiful spot.
Thanks everyone.

We are delighted to be a part of the Sakura project. Our two (soon to be three) cherry trees are looking splendid at Backney Bridge. These trees are a gift from the people of Japan, in recognition of the relationship that exists between our two countries.
