Visit the Council stall for a treasure hunt sheet, have a go at the games, pick up some colouring sheetss - there's even a photo opportunity with Bluey.
With it being half term, we have a few traders on holiday, but we still have a great selection of stalls to entice you. How about a fresh salad for your tea or how about a mouth watering fruit salad. Nick, our fruit and veg trader has plenty of fresh produce available including strawberries, melon, cherries and lots of other fruit. 🍓🍒🍉😋😋

Settle Market is always seeking out new traders, and one of the newest recruits is Lizzie from Barson Laithe Eggs. Lizzie is not new to Market trading and started trading approximately 15 years ago and now trades at Settle and Skipton Market. Lizzie has a wonderful selection of products available including Eggs and Bacon. Fancy something slightly different, try her Duck Eggs.

How do you like your Eggs? Fried, Scrambled, Poached?

In addition, Lizzie also sells Honey, Chutneys, Jam and Lemon Cheese, Tea Biscuits, Ginger parkin, Shortbread, Eccles Cakes and lots more.

At the recent Annual Meeting of the Council, Cllr Joe Lord was voted as Chair / Mayor of Settle and Cllr Mike Rose, Vice-Chair / Deputy Mayor for the next 12 months.

Good morning from a rather damp Settle Market where the weather has put a few traders off. However, we still have a good selection of traders ready to serve you including Nick with Fruit & Veg, Kevin with Cheese, Izzy with homemade cakes and scones, George with Fish, Lizzie with Eggs and Jams, Andrew with Picture frames and Stella with her Antiques.

We also welcome Mike from Austwick Tennis Club who are promoting their Drop-in Free Tennis Taster Evening on Tuesday 26 May.

Bob, has done a fantastic job refurbing the sandpit at Falcon Park.😀👏. It has been filled with new sand and is now awaiting some keen sandcastle builders!!! A big thank you to Janet too, who has kindly donated a picnic table to go in the park. A perfect spot for a picnic with the children.

Good morning from Settle Market. Once again, we have a great selection of traders attending, including Hanif from North Yorkshire Pillows. Hanif has been trading at Settle Market for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge and advice on the products he sells. Top sellers include Pillows and tea towels, but he also sells Duvets, Mattress protectors, Oven gloves, Bathmats, throws and Egyptian cotton bedsheets.

You fancy a sweet treat, then have a look at Izzy Bakes with her homemade and tempting offers which include Sweet & Salty Rocky Road, White Chocolate cookies, Cherry Flapjacks and much, much more.

THANK YOU to the large number of parishioners that attended the Annual Parish Meeting on Monday night. It was very pleasing that so many of you came along to find out about what's going on in your community, what the Council has been up to , it's plans for the forthcoming year and to ask questions.

A big thank you to all of the local organisations that had stalls at the event too and provided an opportunity for parishioners to find out what is available to them in Settle. It was unfortunate that the North Yorkshire Police could not attend at the last minute - I will be following this up and seeing if we can arrange a police surgery soon.
