🐈‍⬛🎃👻Children's Trick or Treat Treasure Trail - Tuesday 27th October 10am - 2pm Settle Market👻🎃🐈‍⬛. Visit the Council stall for a free trail sheet and search the marketplace for clues. Return the sheet and collect a treat 😋. You can also pick up some of our Halloween activity sheets and colouring sheets.
RAFFLE TICKETS for the Christmas Lights raffle will also be on sale!!!

The beautiful poppy display, knitted by Limestone view residents & Parishioners is now in place on the fountain in the Market Place. A big thank you to Chris & Ryan from Knight Stainforth Hall Caravan Park for putting the display up.

The display includes Red Poppies for Remembrance of the fallen in both wars. Purple poppies for the animals that served during wartime and White Poppies for the hope of peace.
There is space around the base should anyone wish to add to the display and place their own poppies.

Dear Settle Parishioners,
Remembrance Service - Sunday 8th November 2026
On behalf of the Settle Town Council, I am pleased to provide details of this year’s Remembrance Service held at Settle Parish Church.

The Service will be held on Sunday 8th November 2026 at 10.00am. This will be immediately followed by a procession to the Cenotaph for the laying of wreaths and the Act of Remembrance. A road closure will be in place whilst this takes place.

Refreshments will be served in the St John’s Methodist Church Hall immediately afterwards, kindly served by the 1st Castleberg Scout Group - Settle.

The Council very much hopes that you will be able to attend.

Good morning from Settle Market. Rather a wet start early this morning but the sun is making an appearance now and its rather mild. Once again have an excellant group of traders standing ready to serve you.
Today we welcome Alan and Kim who are trading for the first time today selling upcycled furniture and small wooden items. Its a brand new venture for Alan so have a look at their stall and say hello.
