📣 WHITESTONE SOLAR FARM – DON’T MISS THE DEADLINE!

Make sure you register by 27th October at 23:59 to attend the Whitestone Solar Farm Open Floor Hearing with the Planning Inspectorate — whether you want to have your say or simply go along and listen.

📅 Tuesday 10th November, 2pm
📍 1925 Suite, Asseal New York Stadium, New York Way, Rotherham, S60 1FJ
💻 Online participation is also available.

We need as many people as possible at this hearing to demonstrate the strength of feeling in our community. You don’t have to speak — your presence matters too. Let’s show we care!

We have been putting our Poppies up today, our Chair Cllr Mike Hemingway came to ask after our missing consignment, which is being resent, so when they arrive we can put them all up.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT Someone left their mobile phone behind at Anston Parish Hall, today, call us on it and we can arrange for you to collect it, or bring your charger to the office in the Old Library (it is still charged but if it is flat we can't prove its yours) tell us the number, we will call it, if it rings you can have your phone back...... Thank you. If you don't claim it, we will be skipping down to cash converters! Old Library 50 Ryton Road. North Anston, Sheffield S25 4DN between Anston Brook School and St James Church Hall.
Its not as exciting as a lost Chicken......
Our lamp post poppies are still missing......
I still havn't got my invoicing done....

Our order of Lamp post poppies states it has been delivered here to the Old Library at 50 Ryton Road, it has been signed for by K Cornell. They are not at our Neighbours, the School or the Church Hall, has anyone out there got our delivery please........ we wanted to put these up this week

📣 WHITESTONE SOLAR FARM – NEXT STEPS

If you registered as an interested party, you should now have received an email from the Planning Inspectorate explaining the next stages. Please check your inbox and junk folder.

The upcoming meetings and hearings are:

▪️ 10th November, 10am – Preliminary Meeting to discuss how the examination will run.

▪️ 10th November, 2pm – Open Floor Hearing, where residents can tell the inspectors their views or simply attend and listen.

▪️ 11th and 12th November, 10am each day – Issue Specific Hearings on environmental matters, where inspectors will examine these topics in more detail.

👥 WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO ATTEND

A strong turnout at the open floor hearing will help demonstrate the strength of feeling in our community about this proposal. You don’t have to speak — coming along to listen matters too.

⏰ THE NEXT DEADLINE IS 27th OCTOBER
Please register by this date to attend the open floor hearing and any of the other meetings, whether you wish to speak or attend in person just to listen.
