Cookstars came to school today to talk to us about cooking! They talked to us about being ready to cook and about the different ingredients involved in different recipes.

Cook stars run an after school club in school every Monday for junior children. Keep an eye out for a flyer coming home this week about Cookstars holiday clubs!

Today the Y4 children have had their Greek WOW day - funded by Supporters of Oughtibridge School - SOS.

The children have enjoyed Greek stories, played Olympic Games, talked about Greek weapons and warfare. They had a great time!

Years 5 and 6 have had a wonderful afternoon yesterday, as author Steve Webb came in to share his new book with the children. Peng and Spanners - Doctor Biscuits was the focus of the afternoon, as the children learned about life as an author, how his books are made, and the children learned how to draw some of the characters.

A huge thanks goes to Sophie and the team at
Hillsborough Bookshop for making this experience possible for our children!
